Hello, 2012 Webelo Scouts! - - - Come Join Us!

Troop 347 extends an invitation to all Webelo Scouts and their parents to visit us! Our general meetings are on the first and third Tuesdays at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 16515 Luther Way in Eden Prairie (on Eden Prairie Road, two blocks north of Highway 5 - Behind Kowalski's) from 6:30 - 8:00. Tuesday, January 31 - Annual Potluck and Winter Court of Honor - - 6:30 - 8:00 - - All Senior Webelos and their parents are invited to share in our winter potluck and watch our winter Court of Honor.

Saturday, February 11 - Ice Fishing Extravaganza - - This is an all-day event. Everybody will have a blast with our ice fishing guide, Andrew O.

Court of Honor and Troop Potluck - This Tuesday!

Come join us for our winter Court of Honor and annual troop potluck dinner! It's this Tuesday, January 31 starting at 6:30.

Along with recognizing the Scouts' achievements the past 3 months and inducting new adult leadership, it is also our annual POTLUCK and Friends of Scouting presentation. So, get out those favorite potluck recipes! Yum! (Please, no tacos in a bag!)

(I received the following note earlier this week from Kris Eidem about her husband Jeff. For those who don't know Kris, her son Josh is a former member of our troop and an Eagle Scout. She has set up a CaringBridge website for communications.)

Jeff was in a car accident on Monday. His pelvis is broken in four places. He will have surgery to repair the hip socket (metal plate) on Friday. He is down at HCMC.

Mustang District AWARDS DINNER - February 2

Who: All Mustang District Scout leaders and their families are invited to attend the District Dinner.

What: This event will recognize the accomplishments of the Mustang District during the 2011 calendar year and the Unit and District leaders for their hard work and dedication on behalf of the Scouting program in the Northern Star Council. The event will include recognition for Unit leaders and the District Award of Merit.

Immanuel Lutheran Church (our Troop's charter organization) is chartering this newly formed Crew - the Troop has several youth and adults (advisors) who will be in the Crew and would like to invite you to join us.
