Troop 347 extends an invitation to all Webelo Scouts and their parents to visit us! Our general meetings are on the first and third Tuesdays at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 16515 Luther Way in Eden Prairie (on Eden Prairie Road, two blocks north of Highway 5 - Behind Kowalski's) from 6:30 - 7:30. Chris T. is looking for help with his Eagle project. The project is to build a raised garden bed at Edendale Retirement Residence at 16700 Main Street in Eden Prairie. (This is just south of the church and west of Kowalski's and runs parallel to Hwy 5 / 78th St.) Plan to meet at Edendale. Chris will need scouts and adults to help from 1:00-5:00 pm on Saturday July 18, and also 8:00-5:00 on Sunday July 19. On Sunday, if people can only work 8:00-12:00 or 1:00-5:00, that's fine, and their help is appreciated.
Put $27.00 into your Scout Account by delivering the Eden Prairie Sun Current. We have Thursday evening routes available around Oak Point and north along Eden Prairie Road. OK, just kiddin' about Troop 347 Day. But it's great fun to watch the cashier's eyes fall out of their sockets when we line up 12 fully-loaded flatbed carts into their checkout lane! Your Voyager Bay Camping Staff is looking for a few adults and scouts to help load up flatbed carts at Sam's Club with food and assorted goodies for summer camp.
Summer Camp this year will be from Saturday, July 25th through Saturday, August 1st at Voyager Bay.
Parents, please plan on attending the information meeting for adults on Tuesday, July 14 at 7:00.
